Therapies & Approaches
Every session is trauma-informed. You set the pace, you always have a choice in what you share, and you'll never be pushed to talk about something before you're ready.
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Practical tools for noticing and changing patterns that feed anxiety and low mood.
DBT skills
Skills for handling strong emotions and getting through distress.
Trauma-informed group therapy
Paced, safety-first group work for people living with the effects of trauma.
Individual therapy
One-on-one support matched to your history and goals.
Peer support
Connection with others working toward similar goals.
Collaborative treatment planning
You and your clinician set goals together and review them as you progress.

FAQ
Virtual IOP in California: Common Questions
Answers about coverage, getting started and what to expect. Still have questions? Our admissions team can help.
Call (949) 844-3813Is virtual IOP covered by insurance in California?
Many health plans cover intensive outpatient care, but coverage depends on your plan. Our admissions team checks your benefits and explains what's covered before you start.
How do I start virtual IOP?
Call us or submit the insurance form. Admissions checks your benefits, then a clinician completes an assessment to confirm virtual IOP is the right level of care. You'll set goals and a schedule together, do a quick tech check, and join your first session. You'll need a device with a camera and microphone, reliable internet, and a private space.
How is virtual IOP different from weekly online therapy?
Weekly therapy is usually one session a week. Virtual IOP combines several group sessions each week with individual therapy and a structured plan, so you get more consistent support.
How long does virtual IOP last?
It depends on your clinical needs. Your clinician sets a plan at intake and reviews it during your first week and as you progress.
What if I'm in crisis right now?
We're an outpatient program, not a crisis service. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911.
