The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it does not create a provider-patient relationship. Nothing on this Site should be used as a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.
Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified provider with any questions about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this Site.

7. Telehealth services
Where we provide services by telehealth, the following apply in addition to these Terms.
- Modality and consent. Before your first session, you will be asked to give informed consent to receive care by telehealth, including acknowledgment of its benefits and limitations and your right to request an in-person visit instead.
- Technology and risk. Telehealth depends on your internet connection and device. We use platforms that support encryption and access controls appropriate for electronic protected health information, but no electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Sessions are not recorded except with your written authorization.
- Licensing limits. Our clinicians are licensed in specific states and may provide telehealth services only where the treating clinician holds the required license. Your physical location at the time of a session determines which licensing rules apply. We may be unable to provide services if you are located outside a state where we are licensed.
- Not for emergencies. Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Higher Purpose Recovery disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
