"Hey everyone, my name is Wren. I am the founder of Higher Purpose Recovery. Someone asked me earlier today: why does my sober living stand out from all the rest? And I may be a little bit biased on this, but I wanted to let you know that I am in recovery myself. And I was blessed enough to get sober at a very amazing sober living, where the owner had a lot of compassion and love and was like my cheerleader and really helped me start to believe in myself. And for me, I wanted to give back.
So I opened up a Sober Living, and I'm doing the same thing. I'm everyone's cheerleader that's living in my house, following the rules, having accountability, and just being there as a coach, a cheerleader. and let them know that it's possible to have all the things that they've always wanted to have in their life if they're just willing to take a little bit of direction like I did myself. And I can sit here today and tell you that my life is the best it's ever been. I pinch myself every day, wondering how it got so good, and all I know is I just was willing to take a little bit of direction.
So in my house, we're huge about community. All the guys in the house, they go to meetings together. They go to the beach and go golfing, surfing, and do fun things together and stick together like a pact. And it really helps when you have a community of like-minded people that are willing to make a change in their life for the better. And they all are there to help each other get to that next level of sobriety.
And I think that's the biggest impact in my sober living is that we're just one big community, and it takes a community to really have you rise above your addiction and mental health, because there'll be days that you come home having a rough day, and you'll have your buddies there telling you it's gonna be okay. that's happened to me, this is what I did. It's just really good to live with like-minded people that are trying to make a better version of themselves and actually accomplishing that better version of themselves.
I'm very passionate about my sober living. I'm there weekly helping the guys. And I know if I could do it, they can do it. And it's all just about loving and being kind helping one another and doing it together as like a group. And I think that's why higher purpose stands out compared to most other sober livings. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this, and I will see you again."
